in honor of the birthday of our Queen Marie-Antoinette

Ball, party, masks, music, gambling, amusements and dance -
a frenzy of the senses, a bacchanalia.
Become nymphs, faunas and gods,
unite for one night
and get lost in the dance.
Dionysos welcomes...
 
Finally, this time we will populate the beautiful rooms
of Castle Wiesenthau for a ball and fill them with historical splendor.
So let yourself be kidnapped in past times.
Experience an evening in the style of the 18th century
with gallantry, etiquette, charm and pleasure.
Lose yourself in the game of masks.
 
In the 18th century the Carnival of Venice was at its zenith,
only interrupted by Lent, people indulged
in a frenzy of celebrations and a lavish lifestyle,
which was only brought to an abrupt end by Napoleon's conquest.
However, it is only a last flash that casts
a spell over the whole of Europe.
And it's also a game of love...
 
Few things are as alluring and mysterious as the gleam
of the eyes behind a mask. Experience it yourself...
 
A grand divertissement with masks and in historical garb,
with games and dance and all the seductions of court life.

The minimum number of participants of 35 registrations must be reached by the 1st September 2024.
If the ball cannot take place, the registration fees will be refunded.
